Puppetry
I am a Los Angeles–based professional puppeteer and voice actor specializing in Muppet-style hand and rod puppetry for film, television, and live theatre. I stumbled my way into puppetry in 2015, and it has been the most joyful sharp turn in my career.
My first professional contract was the Canadian premiere of Thank You For Being a Friend: The Ultimate Golden Girls Experience, where I performed as the iconic matriarch Sophia Petrillo. Following sold-out runs in Toronto and multiple extensions, the production toured provincially across Ontario before heading on a Canadian national tour in 2019 and performed to sold-out houses from Victoria to Charlottetown.
Since then, I have performed as a puppeteer across major theatre productions and stages in Toronto. Credits include Avenue Q (Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut), the world premiere of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant (featuring tabletop puppetry and musical numbers), and the Canadian premiere of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show based on the books by Eric Carle (which included over 100 puppets).
On screen, I puppeteered and voiced Moogie in Season 2 of The Fabulous Show with Fay and Fluffy and played Barb the beaver in the YouTube Kids series Camp Cowabunga, bringing character-driven puppetry to children’s television and digital content.
In addition to performing, I have worked as a puppetry director in Toronto with PuppetCo on productions of Avenue Q and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show. I am also a member of the LA Guild of Puppetry.
I specialize in expressive, character-driven puppetry for audiences of all ages for film, television and theatre. I am available to collaborate for puppeteering projects and voice work in Los Angeles and internationally.
